I really appreciate your words in sympathy for Iranian women, your response really makes sense to the world. But here I want to tell you that Iran is not the only state where women are facing issues over their way of dressing and freedom of choice. Society is just obsessed with women's dressing! Years ago France also barred women from choosing their attire. Recently, In India girls were denied education just because they wanted to wear Hijab. They also protested but no decisions were made in their favour. The whole world witnessed the struggle of Indian girls for getting education while choosing what they want to wear, but very few stand in their support. Those who didn't show support to them are now sympathizing with Iranian women. That's just so hypocritical! Where were the so-called "feminists " when girls in India were denied their right to education for following their religious beliefs in a secular country? This makes no difference between a democracy like India and a theocracy like Iran.
I have always admired you Mr President but your partial stand here just disappointed me.
